Rose Garden: Perfect place to walk, ride and talk 🚴🏻
Rose Garden is known for its sculptures and scenic beauty. I had visited it several times, Last Sunday I along with my wife and daughter visited Rose Garden Chandigarh for a walk and talk and now riding a bicycle.😃
Rose Garden in Chandigarh is a nature’s exhibition of endless beauty and the largest Garden in Asia. The Garden is named after the former President of India Zakir Hussain Rose Garden. The Garden also has varieties of trees and medicinal shrubs.
The pathway is decorated with paintings. There are several things to do at the Rose Garden. It is a better place to have a picnic with friends and family. The Garden has canopies of tall trees for shade and ample space for kids to play around. There are benches under the shade of trees for people to sit and relax.
It is an exciting avenue. Roses are neatly planted in carved-out lawns and flower beds that are regularly maintained by the Government of Chandigarh. One can see Rose, Rose everywhere.
A proverb “A thing of beauty is a joy forever”.The fragrant breeze of the Garden will make your senses refresh and feed your soul.

The fragrance, breeze of the Garden will make your senses fresh and feed your soul. It is an awesome place for everyone. One of the places in our city played a pivotal role in enhancing the publicity of Chandigarh. A small lake like structure along with a colourful fountain is also present where people enjoy and relax.
Subway a walkway to heaven 😃
Above all, now the Rose Garden is Explored due to the new Subway which connects ROSE GARDEN SECTOR 16 and SECTOR 17 PLAZA. Now people who come to see Rose Garden go to see 17 Plaza as well.
The Subway has 100 seaters Amphi Theatre Cycle and Golf cart ramps. The walls dedicate artwork paintings and sculptures to enlight the cultural heritage of the city. The photos and selfies taken at this subway give foreign sight look. Young boys girls and even kids were seen plying sports cycles at very high speed at sloping ramps and the subway was very amazing, recreational, and worth watching activity.
Permanent art exhibits and scintillating music kept us spellbound. A sculpture in black marble us displayed on the underpass entrance depicts the growth of Chandigarh. Extensive lighting and admirable decorated plants in and around underpass to enable people to enjoy the spot during night and evening hours.
We really enjoyed walking in Subway with soothing music and awesome ambiance. 😇
And Here come memories of the Rose Festival occurring every year in the month of February.
The festival is celebrated with amazing pomp and show. Many events are held like Gardening, Landscaping, Photography, Bonsoi, Rose Prince, and Rose Princess. Flower arrangement, Cultural activities, and many more activities of fun-frolic and amusements.
It is exciting and worth watching. It seems you have entered Paradise.
It always makes me remember of my daughter's participation in singing competition singing melodious song Merrily Merrily we welcome you, welcome you to the Rose Festival.
Conclusion:
Now I conclude Rose Garden is the best Garden ever in Chandigarh due to cleanliness, fountains, green lawns, small bridge newly constructed Underpass attracts tourists. As both venues Rose Garden and Sector 17 Plaza have huge tourism potential it is better connectivity between two sites to attract more tourists to the city DON’T MISS to visit the explored underpass SUBWAY of Rose Garden Chandigarh.
At the end, I would say nature experience never ends 😃
